I've heard the sapphire skies and downy flakes were too much bliss for a newspaper story, but I don't believe it.
It's kind of like saying "there's too much snow."

Whoever said that over the last decade might wish for a child's view out the living room window as the grader-turned-snowplow built huge piles that meant only one thing -- great tunnels.

Who gets to make an offering to the God of Snows in Saranac Lake?

I would suggest a pile of cranberries, an unmatched wool mitten and a fire burst off an outdoor pit with a frozen collection of marshmallows.

One note: try blowing bubbles in below zero weather -- talk about a cool sound ...
