Just Say No to Cuba?

Sen. Bob Menendez is upset with the proposed change in policy towards Cuba. A new law would allow Cuban-Americans to visit relatives in Cuba once a year. Also, the bill would make it legal to sell more food and medicine to Cuba. Here is what Sen. Menendez has to say:

"If the omnibus bill is signed by the president as is," Menendez warned, "He will be extending a hand while the Castro regime maintains its iron-handed clenched fist."

I guess Sen. Menendez is really impressed with the results of the US 47 year old embargo towards Cuba. Let's just continue with that policy since it seems to be working so well. I guess getting the votes of Cuban-Americans is more important than actually solving our problems with Cuba.
