Ottawa is a wonderful, beautiful, safe, small city. Only 130 miles from Saranac Lake. Like going to Albany. Drive to Malone, through the Akwesasne reservation (get cheap gas) and cross at the bridge next to the GM engine block plant. Make sure and take a tour through the Parliament building.

Hmmm. Some beautiful architecture, and a mass of grossness. Interesting contrast.
It's actually quite beautiful inside.
