Senator Ted "Bridge to nowhere" Stevens. You know, the internet is pipes guy? Senator Stevens has been indicted on 7 counts of making false statements (also known as lying). Let's hope Alaska Rep. Don Young soon follows. With our current Justice Department I'll have to be somewhat cautious that anything actually happens to these guys. Even if convicted, it's likely they will end up being pardoned by President Bush.

It's a sad statement about voters more than the politition. If they bring home the pork we keep em in office. Never mind their moral character or what other damage they do along the way.
