The president believes pardons and commutations should reflect a genuine determination to strengthen the rule of law and increase public faith in government.And just how does this strengthen the rule of law? By overturning a conviction by a jury and a sentencing by a respected Judge (a republican) who was following Federal sentencing guidelines?
Tony goes on to write:
