No Doubting the Crowds

4 million people at the Inauguration I've read. I was at an anti-war rally in Washington DC where an estimated 1 million people showed up to protest the Vietnam War. The above crowd dwarfs that anti-war crowd. Has there ever been such a large crowd gathered in one place?

The sheer grandiosity of the event and the enthusiasm from such a huge crowd was amazing. Nice to see so many Americans gathered for a common purpose in once place. Amazing, in fact.
