GOP Welcomes Moderates

John Boehner wants us to believe that the GOP welcomes moderates to the Republican party:

"We accept moderates in our party, and we want moderates in our party. We cover a wide range of Americans," said Republican House Leader John Boehner in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union."

Anyone with even half a brain knows that is just not true.

A friend of mine gave me what he thought was the Republican definition of a moderate: "someone who is opposed to burning a heretic at the stake".
