I'm Not Going to Take It Anymore

I've got to ask. Where were these angry people when President Bush lied us into an unnecessary war with Iraq? I'm guessing we are not going to get through the month of August without someone getting seriously hurt.

One important correction. I'm pretty sure Spector and other believers will stand before God, not the other way around. BTW, Spector is not a Christian.

What is all the anger about?

Obama is not a citizen.

Death panels.

Their takin away our freedom.

Budget deficits - forget that Reagan proved deficits don't matter and that Dick Armey said in 2004 "“I’m sitting here, and I’m upset about the deficit, and I’m upset about spending. There’s no way I can pin that on the Democrats. Republicans own the town now.”

Too bad we couldn't produce energy from stupid.

The opposition claims to be outraged at the fundamental change in the role of government; the so-called socialization of America. Where the hell was all this outrage when Bush changed our doctrine to preemptive war. Where was the outraged when we privitized certain aspects of the military (ala Blackwater Security and no-bid contracts for Haliburton)? The conservatives say that socialization leads to no competition, but when the GOP wrote the medicare drug plan years ago, they stipulated that medicare MAY NOT NEGOTIATE with pharmaceutical companies over pricing. Where was the outrage? There was none, because the opposition and their slack-jawed constituents are DISINGENUOUS in their outrage.

Well said. And to your point - if we could get energy from stupid we'd never need another drop of oil.
