Sen. Inhofe then goes on to clarify himself:
"Do you really want to have a guy as commander in chief of this country when you can question whether or not he really loves
his country?"
"Let me be clear,'' he said.It's a good thing our country doesn't have more patriots like Sen. Inhofe. That he wears a flag lapel pin is about all the proof we have of Sen. Inhofe's patriotism.
"I am not questioning Sen. Obama's patriotism, but you have to question why at times he seems so obviously opposed to public displays of patriotism and national pride, like wearing an American flag lapel pin.''
Remember the vote to provide funding for additional armor for humvees? Inhofe hopes you don't because he voted against it. How about votes on bills that supported veterans? On ten votes since 2003 that affected military veterans, Inhofe voted against 8 of them....he was absent for the other two.
Sen. Inhofe is not questioning Sen. Obama's patriotism? Patriotism is love of country and Obama has shown his love of country far better than has Sen. Inhofe.
