Palin for President - 2012

This is great news. 64% of Republicans believe Palin should run for President in 2012.
When asked to choose among some of the GOP’s top names for their choice for the party’s 2012 presidential nominee, 64% say Palin. The next closest contenders are two former governors and unsuccessful challengers for the presidential nomination this year -- Mike Huckabee of Arkansas with 12% support and Mitt Romney of Massachusetts with 11%.

I disagree with the talking heads on TV that believe Sarah Palin is a competent, capable politician.

Be careful what you wish for, you may not like what you get. Lets hope Palin gets her hat handed to her for fear of wrong doing.

Palin is a small minded reactionary dimwit, so most of the Republicans, especially the base base, identify with her, it's called identity politics.
It has nothing to do with politics, but no intelligent honest person can listen to her and not assume she is a small minded fool is beyond me.
Funny how the same people who would bristle with near hysteria when someone suggested that many anti-Obama types are motivated by racism can turn around and say Palin's critics are haters of (women, hunters, conservatives, small towners, etc) or if cons, call them elitist

many would vote for her because they identify with her as one of them, and she is.......

happy watching Law & Order, American Idol or thinking about buying Shedd's Spread Mashed potatoes at Price Chopper.

I know plenty of not too bright and/or superficial people who at least have enough sense to reject someone as dim as they are. It's not an IQ thing as much as a judgement question.
Besides, they act like she is a candidate for sainthood cause she is anti-abortion and had her retard kid she loves showing off(the smartest of her brood), but spends 150K illegally on clothes and the same morally preening mental midgets give her a pass. After all, McCain chose her supposedly cause she was some sort of paragon of honesty and anti earmarks, both crap. It's all McCain's fault, he picked her and his camp has no right to blame Palin for being herself.
